Seychelles Fintech Fusepay Unveils AI-Powered Enterprise System for African Trade

Seychelles-based fintech company Fusepay has launched Fuse360, an AI-native operating system designed to streamline operations for wholesalers, distributors, and manufacturers across Africa. This move signifies Fusepay's expansion from its core payments business into the broader enterprise software market. The platform integrates essential business functions like inventory management, order processing, customer credit, and retailer relationship management, all while leveraging AI to automate repetitive tasks and provide actionable insights.

Fuse360's core innovation lies in its AI agents, which operate natively within the platform. This allows them direct access to critical business data such as invoices, inventory, and payment histories, enabling automated payment reconciliation, collections, reporting, and customer credit monitoring. The system aims to eliminate the inefficiencies caused by disconnected business tools, offering a unified ecosystem where financial transactions and operational workflows are synchronized.

Targeting Africa's substantial trade sector, which recorded $1.5 trillion in merchandise trade in 2024, Fusepay positions Fuse360 as a tailored solution for trade businesses, distinguishing itself from generic ERP systems. With the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) driving increased intra-African trade, the demand for integrated digital tools is expected to grow. Fusepay, which raised $350,000 in pre-seed funding, plans to expand Fuse360 from its initial launch in Seychelles to Mauritius and other East and Southern African markets later this year, aiming to connect various stakeholders within the trade ecosystem through its AI-native platform.
