Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Creativo@Work LLC(“we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of the website goodai.news under the name “AfricaDailyAI” (the “Service”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who We Are (Data Controller)
The data controller responsible for your personal information is Creativo@Work LLC, New York, U.S.A. For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@goodai.news.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Email address, when you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data, such as IP address, browser type, device and operating system, referring pages, and pages viewed, collected through server logs and standard web technologies.
- Email engagement data, such as whether a newsletter email was opened and which links were clicked, collected via tracking pixels and tagged links in our emails.
- Cookies and similar technologies, used to operate the Service and remember basic preferences. See Section 6.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of sensitive personal data, and we ask that you not send them to us.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- To send you our newsletter and related communications you request;
- To measure engagement with our content and emails (for example, open and click rates) so we can improve what we publish;
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical problems; and
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or comparable laws apply, we rely on: your consent (for example, newsletter subscription and non-essential cookies); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Email Newsletter and Tracking
Our newsletter is delivered through a third-party email provider. Emails may include a tracking pixel and tagged links that tell us whether a message was opened and which links were clicked, in aggregate and at the individual-subscriber level. You can opt out of our newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, after which we stop sending and remove your address from active mailing lists.
6. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Service to function and to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or sell your data.
7. Service Providers & Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with vendors who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards, including:
- Google / Firebase — website hosting, database, and backend infrastructure;
- Resend — newsletter email delivery and engagement analytics;
- Algolia — on-site search functionality.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
8. International Data Transfers
We operate from the United States and use providers that may store and process data in the U.S. and other countries. Where we transfer personal information across borders — including from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or African countries — we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection, such as standard contractual clauses or reliance on providers with recognized safeguards.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email privacy@goodai.news. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
African data-protection regimes
Because AfricaDailyAI serves an audience across Africa, we aim to honor rights granted under regional data-protection laws in addition to the GDPR, including:
- Nigeria — the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and the NDPR;
- South Africa — the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA);
- Kenya — the Data Protection Act, 2019;
- Ghana, Egypt, and other jurisdictions — applicable national data-protection laws.
Where these laws apply, you may exercise the rights they provide (such as access, correction, objection, and deletion) by contacting us at the address above, and you may complain to your national data-protection regulator (for example, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, the South African Information Regulator, or the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya).
10. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here — for example, we retain your email address while you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping — unless a longer period is required by law. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
