Seychelles Fintech Fusepay Unveils AI-Powered Business Platform for African Trade

Seychelles-based fintech firm Fusepay has launched Fuse360, an artificial intelligence-powered business management platform designed to streamline operations for wholesalers, distributors, and manufacturers. This new system integrates various critical business functions, including inventory management, order processing, invoicing, customer credit, and collections, into a single cohesive platform. It also seamlessly connects with Fusepay's existing licensed payments platform, offering a unified ecosystem for both operational and financial management.

The development of Fuse360 addresses the common challenge faced by trade businesses in Africa and globally: fragmented systems where different aspects of operations are managed through disparate software, spreadsheets, and messaging applications. By consolidating these functions, Fusepay aims to enhance efficiency and reduce the time businesses spend on administrative tasks, allowing them to focus more on growth and strategic initiatives.

The platform's core innovation lies in its use of AI agents to automate repetitive operational tasks such as payment reconciliation, credit monitoring, and business analysis. Furthermore, Fuse360 includes an AI-powered credit intelligence feature that analyzes customer payment behavior and historical data to assist wholesalers in making informed credit decisions. While leveraging AI for automation, the company emphasizes that the system is designed to support employees rather than replace them.

Founded by Vidhyasahar Thiyagarajan and Francesco Rocchi, Fusepay has secured over US$350,000 in pre-seed funding. Following its launch in Seychelles in July 2026, the company has ambitious expansion plans, targeting Mauritius in September and subsequently extending into other selected East and Southern African markets before the end of the year. This strategic rollout underscores Fusepay's commitment to leveraging technology to solve business challenges across the African continent.
